Our view
Euro / US Dollar
The euro is building higher lows above 1.0800 as the dollar softens on cooling US data. A daily close above 1.0945 opens the way to the 1.10 handle; a slip under 1.0795 would neutralise the bullish structure.
British Pound / US Dollar
Cable is coiling in a 175-pip range ahead of UK CPI. Momentum is flat and both moving averages are converging — wait for a break of the range edges before committing to direction.
US Dollar / Japanese Yen
Intervention risk from Tokyo and narrowing yield spreads keep a lid on the pair. Rallies toward 153 have been sold; the next downside magnet is the 149.80 pivot.
Gold / US Dollar
Gold remains bid on central-bank buying and safe-haven demand. Dips toward 2,342 continue to attract buyers; a break above 2,431 targets fresh record territory.
